I'm a sophomore at Kennesaw State University hoping to apply for the program starting in January 2019 and had some questions about people's average score that have gotten in during recent years.
I transferred from GCSU to KSU so I have 2 different GPAs, will they consider my Institutional or the total GPA. I also have a lot of AP credits including one that covered one of the chemistry classes, statistics, and english 1101.
My current GPAs
Total GPA: 3.65
KSU GPA: 3.25
My top 7 includes 3 As and a B (AP credits and currently taking exempted)
My top 5 is 2 As (AP credits and currently taking exempted)
Currently I am taking
A&P 1 and lab and hope to get an A in lecture and a B in lab
Psych 3305 and hope to get an A
Sociology 1101 and hope to get an A
Psych 2000 and hope to get an A
I haven't taken the TEAS yet.
Projected GPA after this semester (at time of application)
Total GPA: 3.74
KSU GPA: 3.6
Top 7 will be 5 As and 2 Bs
Top 5 will be 3 As (exempting my AP scores from Statistics and Chem 1)
If anyone knows how good of a chance I have or wants to share their own scores for comparison that would be great!
Update! I spoke to my adviser and she said they only looked at institutional GPA and that the average GPA for entrance into the program was roughly 3.8! That doesn't bode well for me, but I hope the information can help someone else.
