I took the test again a few days ago and I made an 84 overall. I would like to make some adjustments to the topics, but the test was identical the second time around.
**what would raise metabolism? starvation, exersize, sleep, or stress?
**know about the mechanisms of breathing air, especially the pressure in the lungs during inhalation and exhalation.
**organ system controlling metabolism, and how PH is controlled.
**effects of CHRONIC high blood pressure
**what area of the digestive tract is responsible for the absorption of nutrients?
**inhibitory feedback and negative feedback of hormones.
**senses/factors that INCREASE with old age
Other than topics I've mentioned, the rest of the previous topics will be on there
math- Just know basic adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing with whole numbers and fractions. know hoe ti turn a fraction to a decimal and the reverse. Also know how to set up proportions and simple dosage calculations.
Reading- same as ACT but maybe easier. Review through an ACT book.
Writing- I hated this one, but this section asks you about grammar rules and punctuation. Ex: What sentence does not fit with the rest of the paragraph? what word is incorrect or can be omitted? Where should you insert this sentence?
