Kaplan Entrance Exam

Published

Hi everyone I need help passing the Kaplan entrance exam the reading comprehension section. I have pratice using the Kaplan book it was of no help to me. I just need to pass the reading any help will be appreciated.

So the first thing I would suggest is determining what subjects you are struggling with. To do this, first you need to figure out how the test is divided for each subject and how much time you might have per question or passage (this can be just a rough idea or using the exact time). Then, take a practice exam and evaluate how you did with timing and on each section. That will give you an idea of what materials you should study, which should be based on the outline of topics Kaplan gives you for each section (periodic table trends for chemistry, for example). Next, once you practice with those subjects (using Kaplan materials or study guides), then retake a practice exam. Repeat the procedure, until you feel you have mastered each subject, or you are on the very end of your study materials, in which case I'd practice using some other entrance exam materials. Reserve one practice exam for a few days before the exam, so you keep the timing down. Then, go in on test day, with some confidence. Good luck!

If possible, please also read my article on nursing school admissions - https://allnurses.com/pre-nursing-student/applying-to-nursing-1048760.html . It might help.
