Specializes in ICU.

Hello fellow nurses. Any live near the K.C. area? I'm an ICU nurse who is thinking about traveling for a year or so. I have nothing to tie me down here in KC so I can pick up and go with little to no problem at all.

My question is have any of you traveled with others to the same city/facility? 2-4 as a group? Pros, cons? I think it would be fun to travel with others versus traveling alone. Any in KC area thinking of traveling but would prefer to travel with others? If so send me a message here or email:[email protected]

Also, thank you for any information provided here. This website is a great resource for all nurses, so thanks to the webmaster/site owner.

Bump,

any looking for travel-mates? I'd prefer people in the Kansas City area, to meet and discuss.

Matt

Where are you looking to go?

Specializes in ICU.

Im am seriously open to just about any location. I'm an ICU nurse and this would be my first travel assignment. I'm not married, no kids, nor anything else that may hamper travel plans.

Let me know what you're thinking.

Matt

Well i'm not in Kansas City, so not sure if you are interested.

Is it compact state? i believe so, so you can go anywhere compact pretty easily.

I am kinda leaning toward Phoenix, since its a compact state, while i apply for CA and NY licenses, and maybe a few others.

The jobs some recruiters have told me about seem to be starting middle of Dec.

I am also single but have a small dog. I'm female.

Also would be my first travel assignment. Oh I'm a Peds RN.

If interested feel free to PM me and i will give you my email.

KS and MO are NOT compact states (wish they were).

However, I'm hoping to travel into KCMO starting January. Nothing firm at this time. Feel free to PM me.
