Just a rant.... I am starting the rn-bsn program and I cannot believe the cost for a 3 credit class... $1600!!! This is a state school. I guess I am having a little bit of sticker shock

Have you shopped around? There are entire programs to be had for under $10K.

I am taking state school classes and 12 hours in one semester (two 7 1/2 sessions/semester) 4k per semester. My total should be about 12K

Tuition is expensive these days, even for public colleges. Not much you can do about it, if you're lucky your employer offers some tuition reimbursement to take the sting out of it.

I'm looking at an online RN-BSN program at a nearby state college. They charge $480 per credit, plus a $199 "online fee" per semester. If I take 1 class per semester, it will cost me $1639. The state U charges $600 per credit.

Wow. Those tuition costs blow me away. Before the earth's crust cooled I paid about $1000 for 3 years of nursing school tuition. For what it costs nowadays, I'd want to learn how to raise the dead.

Wow... I am surprised to hear about similar costs. I may look into another school... I had no idea it was going to cost this much

I just graduated from Boise state's online Rn-bsn program and LOVED it. The cost is $1050/3 credit class. Good luck!

The in-state tuition and public universities is affordable. It's the fees that get you!
