After months of pouring over this site, I had told myself that I would not sign up until I passed the HESI. Well today I took it for the first time, and PASSED!!! Could not believe how stressed I was about this--really because I haven't had BIO 1107 since 2006, and am in my second week of AP 1.
AP - 96%
Biology - 88%
Math - 98%
Vocabulary - 94%
Reading - 90%
For anyone who hasn't had science classes for a while, or even AP at all, I recommend using YouTube! I went to the Anatomy GMC YouTube channel and watched EVERY Anatomy and Biology lecture that professor had! I paused and took notes as if I was in class. I truly believe that THIS is what helped me succeed in both science sections!
Math - used the HESI Exam Review book.... VERY easy, LOTS of RATIOS!!!!
Vocab - literally only saw about 20 words from the HESI Review book... the rest I guess, or was common knowledge.
I was actually blown away by how easy this exam was... So surprised by my score that I may think there was a computer glitch because the science sections, I could've sworn I seriously didn't know about a third of the questions and just guessed.
All I can say is YAY!!!! And now I'm onto the next step... :)

Congrats!! I will be taking the test very soon. My school only requires the math, vocabulary, and reading comprehension portions but I am still very worried about taking it because math is not my strong subject. Oh well, I'd better practice because I'll be doing plenty of math in nursing.
BTW, were the ratio questions word problems or number problems?
most of the ratio problems were like 300:x::150:7
i had almost 15-20 of those
