Hi Cynthia!!
I am in the same boat as you...Graduation is a mere 9 weeks away (yikes!) and while I am doing well on my exams, I am just so terrified of putting in all this work and not making it (at my school, only about 55-60% of the students who start the program graduate). I am just trying to take it one day at a time and learn everything I can!
I came across this website a few days ago (I saw it on a thread on all nurses somewhere...don't remember exactly - sorry I can't cite who gave it!) and thought some of the explanations were pretty helpful. Obviously, the policies that your school follows take precedent, but I learned a bit from a few of the links.
Good luck and hang in there...we are so close!
You are right; you just need encouragement. I think the tough last semester is just the nature of the beast. I struggled my last semester, most of my classmates struggled, most got through OK. I did, don't really know how, but I did and passed boards last month. If you have been a B student so far, you likely will do fine, probably finish as a B student. I hope I don't have to compete with you for a job!
I am in the same boat as you, I got a 59 on the first test and a 65 on the second test!!!!!! I realized I was not going in depth enough to understand the information. I assumed it was the same info as med surg 1, LOL, learned the hard way how it isnt!!!! MY advice, keep on going, even when you dont want to go on, keep on going. We are almost graduating, now is the time to keep fighting even when life sure isnt looking to cheery these days lol.

:chair::hdvwl:Hi Everyone,
I am in my last semester. Hopefully graduate in 3 months. HOPEFULLY.
I have always been a B average and like most schools we have a minimum passing B 80% average. I took my first test for complex health alterations and got a 70%. I am kinda just freaking out because now I have to really work my lil but off to average an 80 on the last few exams. Our section we are covering now is Critical Care (ie vents, ARDS, PE, Burns, Shock) If anyone has any good websites or resources or just wisdom I would totally appreciate it as I just want this done and over with!!
