Just got my RN degree!!!!!!!!!!!

I have worked as an LPN for 13 years and the past 5 have been in dialysis. What should I ask for as an RN in dialysis since I have experience and I have also worked already as a charge nurse in dialysis (under an RN's supervision). Thanks for your help.

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on obtaining your RN !!! :balloons: :) :balloons:

That's wonderful !!!

So... are you still doing dialysis, are you at the same facility, or just what is your present situation?

As far as wages, that all depends on where you live,, what part of the country, etc., and what the "average" nursing new grad pay is there.

I would say that with your past experience and doing charge, you would certainly have several good cards in your hand worth playing if you are planning on continuing in the dailysis fileld.

This should play in your favor when negotiating your pay.

Wish you all the best, and enjoy ! :)

Well, right now I am currently on maternity leave. I delivered my baby girl 8 days after taking the boards. I plan on returning to work in Feb either back at my outpatient unit or starting to do acutes in the hospitals.
