Jordan Frames

Greetings All,

This is my first post on the site, looking for some advice/market research etc for a new product. In down Under (Australia), we use jordan frames for lifting some critically ill/ Spinal patients to attend pressure area care(as I suspect everywhere else does). We use hard plastic slats under the patients, which placing them there is often a chore. hence the questions

1. Does anyone have any ideas to make this easier apart from the use of Powders, creams etc to make the slats more slippery to the patients skin????

2. Are there any other devices of use out there that can do a similar job?? I have done a poll of aussie hospitals and the answer here is no.

I have developed something new to aid in the use of jordan frames and looking towards this site for market research from people who are in the job working with them. I do not wish to go against the spirit of the site, but would love to know other points of view from other parts of the world.

thanks in advance for your posts
