Johns Hopkins Entry Into Nursing MSN Fall 2017

Hi all ! Figured I'd start another thread for Fall applicants as the other seemed to be directed at 2017 Spring applicants.

I'm already enrolled for 2017 Fall start but was wondering if anyone has any ideas about the transition to the DNP program? I ultimately want to be an FNP, which the Johns Hopkins entry program doesn't include, but noticed on the DNP page they indicate units can be taken from the entry program - does this mean a transition between the two might be facilitated?

Hi kaybri, glad to see another applicant here! We actually have the same exact goals! I went to an info session last year and yes, we can use some of the entry MSN credits in the DNP program, but we still have to apply to the DNP program and we need RN experience before starting.

Thanks for starting this! When did you apply? I'm just wondering since you said you were already enrolled. I'm wondering when I'm going to hear if I got in!

It seems like this thread is not very active. Did noone apply for Fall 2017? I was wondering when did you all hear back about the decision? Im applying for Fall 2018
