Hey everyone! I didn't see a thread yet for the Spring 2020 start for the JTCC RN program so I decided to start this one.

I am applying for the hybrid program and wanted to see if anyone else out there had applied/is planning to apply for Spring.

Hi! I’m so glad I found this thread...I’m applying for Spring as well and I’m super nervous. Taking my TEAS one last time to see if I can bring all my scores together.

Hey Taylor! What are you averaging on the Teas? Have you finished all the pre-requisites yet? I took A&P I and the nutrition class (optional for VCU/UVA transfers) this summer and will take A&P II in the fall to get it over. I did well on the TEAS and have a 3.9 GPA after my summer classes post. Any idea on when they will let us know if we got in?

Yes I’ve finished the pre-reqs, but it’s geen a little since I’ve seen the information. And I’m averaging a 70-72 which isn’t bad but it’s not where it’s needs to be. My problem is I haven’t been consistent with my individual sections so I’ll do really well and get like 85’s in two of my sections but then drop my other scores I did well on the last time I took it. And they’ll probably let us know maybe around September?

@TaylorLeigh Have you looked into the ATI Teas study program? I used it and went from a 73 to the 99th percentile. I did the full study program online, not just the book.

Hi and welcome!! The waiting is the worst part! I heard mid to late September was the goal to let us know, but could be as late as mid October!

I read through the older boards on all nurses and it seem like it was normally the 1st or 2nd week of October.

What program did everyone apply for? I applied for traditional. I’ve taken online classes before, but do better in a classroom setting. Anxiously waiting until October!!

Hello and welcome! I applied to hybrid as well. My advisor said the end of September was the goal as they are trying to get everyone registered earlier this year. Fingers crossed we hear something soon, this wait is brutal!!
