John Hopkins School of Nursing for prereqs

Published

Hi! I'm looking for advice / feedback for those who've taking courses via JHSN online.

The JH new student Welcome Packet says courses will take approx 10-15 hours a week for classes with a lab. Courses are 10 weeks long and JH recommends taking on 7 units at a time.

I'd like to take both Chemistry and Microbiology this Fall (8 units). I work full time, 12 hour shifts 3-4x a week, but can take a day off here and there if needed. If its truly 30 hours of study a week total it seems doable.

Any thoughts on the workload for these courses--time, difficulty? If I'm looking to get As, is this totally doable or a stretch in your opinion?

Thanks for your help!!
