Jobs in group homes

Does anyone know how to go about finding a job in a group home?

For over a year I have worked through an agency in various group homes with a particular company. However, I can't get a permanent position there because of my contract. I know there are other group homes that are privately owned, but how do I find out about them? How do they advertise that they exist, and if they are hiring core staff? I'm in Tucson, btw.

Have you tried asking the group home owners? As you know group home owners tend to know other group home owners in the area as they compete and many times are related or from the same culture. Could also try asking the home health and hospice nurses, social workers, and chaplains visting your group homes. They might even know of places looking for help. Seems to be a lot of turnover at group homes.
