Hello:
Looking to find out what places are paying good wages in the Hudson Valley Region.
The hospitals in Dutchess county do not employ LPN's. I have already checked this out.
I am not sure if it is better to work for the state or a Nursing Home.
Looking to get an idea of the pay rate in The Hudson Valley..
Thank you for your time.

I live in Putnam county! If I ha it to do over again, I'd work for the State! Not terrible pay, but great bennies and retirement is terrific! from what I hear!
what is considered a state job? can a lpn work for the state or just rn?
do you know the pay difference? if i'm not mistaken, if you work for the state there is a pension? doesn't sound bad if there is a pension huh?
well, in this county the pay varies as far as what i hear. i have interviewed a few lpn's in this county and counties further south. they do get paid more further south. isn't it always the case??
i really am not sure what field i'd like to go in. there are so many choices to chose from.
i know i'd like to be a er rn nurse later on down the road.
i am also trying to find web sites on study habits. if you have any you'd like to share, i'd sure appreciate it very much.
thank you & hope you have a wonderful day!
i think nurses are just wonderful!
