Hi! Looking for information specific to FL, but but anyone that has input will be appreciated!
Wondering how difficult or easy it was to find a job after challenging the exam. I have about 10 years worth of medical on the job training and was planning on taking a 20 hour course that preps you for the exam. I want to be able to work a more flexible schedule, as my M-F 8-5 will not work once I start my RN program. Also would like to get my foot in the door at a hospital if possible.
Ive been searching various job openings and I've only seen one hospital list that they want you to have taken a CNA training course, but even that did not specify 120hr. Some of the ALF, and Bayfront hospital have openings for " resident care or patient tech" type positions that don't even state you need a CNA.
Again, just wondering how this all actually plays out once you apply.
Thank you in advance !
