job market in seattle WA area

So, I did a rather rash thing and decided to uproot my life with the intention of moving out to Seattle. Long story why, won't get into it.

Background: I'm an RN with one year acute care experience at a mid sized hospital outside Boston: Med/Surg and Telemetry Float. ACLS certified. Good reference from my employer.

I have applied to WA DOH for a license and should get it in a few weeks, according to recent threads.

I have savings and am willing to work per diem in places if need be. I'll even do LTC, nursing homes etc. I have no pride at this point and my career can backslide a bit I guess.

The job market in Boston for nurses is BAD.

The job market everywhere is BAD I know.

My question is, should I even bother? I really love the area and really need a change for personal reasons. Please help, any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks!
