Job hunting question, pls help!

Hi, you guys, I just got my RN license of NY and have started job hunting. Since I don't have any experience on this, so I wonder if you guys could give me some suggestions. My question is if I need to mention which units I'd like to work at while sending my resume to the protential employers or let the protential emplyers to decide which unit they wanna me work at?? Actually, there are several units I am interested in, such as ER, CCU, ICU, OR,etc. However, I don't have any working background on those units but OB/GYN( over 6 yrs). So what you think about this? It is wise to switch to those units right now? Or it is better to ask for a inside transfer after being hired in OB/GYN?? My questions might sound silly but... pls feel free to drop your comments. Oh, by the way, my OB/GYN working experience is not in USA.
