Job Change?

Hi, I am a new grad and have worked on my floor for almost four months. I am not very happy here, and I can't seem to adjust to night shift. It's really making me depressed and not enjoy my job. So I'm wondering how soon could I apply for a different job without burning any bridges and looking bad? I appreciate all the time they have spent training me and offering me a job right out of college, but I want pediatrics and this hospital doesn't even offer it.

Is it possible for you to hold out until that magical one year mark to get your experience and then move on?

Search the board for tips about how people cope with the night shifts. There's a lot of good tips that you could try.
