Omg congrats! I actually don't go to the information session and apply until the 18th of the month and I take the Kaplan entrance exam on the 19th. I'm sooooo nervous for the exam! Was it hard at all and can you offer up any suggestions as to the things I should be focusing on? So far I've just been reviewing the Kaplan Exam book to brush up on Math and Reading, I read through and studied the entire "Anatomy & Physiology for Dummies" book and took practice exams from the McGraw Hill textbook website, and reviewed a grammar textbook to study for the Writing section. Any other advice would gladly be welcomed!
Also, I have a bachelor's in Psychology from VCU, but I only graduated with a 3.4 GPA. Do you guys think this is going to weigh heavily against me or should I be worrying more about my Kaplan score?
Thanks guys and congrats for those who made it!
Hello HarrisJa9,
I also have a BA in psychology. Do you have any suggestions in terms of studying for the Kaplan? I am currently enrolled in the pre-nursing program. What should I expect in terms of reading, science, and writing? I have not taken BIO 141 yet. I would appreciate any advice that you can give me.
