Ivy Tech ANP 101 - online

U.S.A. Indiana

Published

I am interested in taking ANP101 online in the Spring 2010 semester. I was looking at the classes online but noted that some of them state "8 weeks". What does this mean? Any advice you can provide is helpful.

Also, is there anyone on this board who lives in the Indy/Fishers area who would be interested in becoming a study partner?

Thanks.

It means that instead of the normal 16-week semester, that course will be an 8-week course. So, the class will be very fast-paced.

Hi there... I just wanted to let you know that I have now taken ANP 101 online (twice) and I do not recommend it. It is very difficult and while many people have a harder time with 102, I took that in person and got a high A. Just think about trying to teach yourself all of the muscles and nerves of the human body with no direction as to which might be the most important come test time. The first time I took it was over the summer (8 weeks) and it was hell. I was doing okay and had a good grade going into the final but did very poorly on it. That is not to say an A cannot be earned, it can. It just takes a lot of effort. A lot. If you can avoid taking it online to take it in person I would definitely recommend that.
