It's been over a year but I finally have an update!

Hi everyone! Well it's taken over a year but my husband and I have finally gotten our passport requests for PR in Canada! I went the federal skilled worker route. Some may have recalled the issue last year re: CLPNA and whether they would accept my experience/licensure from the US. The site was a bit confusing in the end they DID accept everything. Once I became registered I started applying for jobs and most responses were the same "when you arrive give us a call". But by me applying I got email contact information so when the time came I had a better chance of finding a job. All total I had a choice of 5 positions that were very interested in hiring me. So I really did not have a difficult time. I do have some experience and perhaps that made it easier I'm not sure. I am very excited and happy to be soon settling in Alberta. I think we will be happy there!
