Is it useful to have a BSN and a Bachelors in Health Administration???

Published

If I have my bachelor's degree in healthcare administration already, and I have been a lead medical assistant for 8 years prior to that bachelors degree, and now I am looking at completing a direct entry BSN program. Can I work as a nurse administrator or nurse manager with those two degrees????

I know it is not the same as an MSN, but I feel like the two degree complement each other. And I really love leadership, but I don't want to miss out on seeing patients. However, after all this schooling I will be 30 and have absolutely no interest in getting a masters because I have already been in school for a very long time.

I just want to know if I will be able to work a higher nurse position with those two bachelor's degrees rather than a masters??

Thanks in advance!
