Hi everyone! Trying out this site for the first time. I'm wondering if anyone has graduated from Rasmussen nursing or has any info about their program in general? But I'm also specifically inquiring about their drug testing policy. I am currently in the process of getting registered for their RN program that starts in April 16 (nothing paid for or set in stone yet) and I'm kinda shocked to find out I don't have to take a drug test to get in... It made me question the validity of the program a little because all the other schools I looked at required it before admittance was even granted. I won't be taking clinicals my first quarter so do you think they just wait to test everyone? It seems a little fishy to me but has anyone been through a nursing program w/o drug testing or have any experience with this or any other Rasmussen campus? Of course I'll be seeking more info from the school but they'll be closed for holiday break for a while and I'm pretty curious now! Thanks in advance.

I didn't have to take a drug test to get into my nursing school, and it's a very reputable program in my area.
I don't have any info about your specific program though, just offering my two cents! :)

Hello. I am thinking about attending Rasmussen College of nursing in Ocala, Fl. I am very nervous. I was wondering if you ended up enrolling with them or not? If so how did they drug test go about? Do you take it upon entry? Is it blood test, oral, urine, or hair? Also if you did end up going here how did you like it? Was it worth the price? I am a little confused. When you say that they are not nationally accredited does that mean that your nursing license would only be valid in the state of Florida?
