As I sit here in my last few weeks of third quarter, I couldn't help but wonder if there are any other students out there going crazy in nursing school! I mean, I have a while to go and I already have "senioritis". I'm feeling so lazy I can't even read for more than an hour or two at a time without pacing around my house like a crazy person! Nursing this and nursing that.... I just want to talk about something else! I work in the field, go to school, do clinical and do unlimited amounts of nursing homework! I think I'm forgetting how to relate to non-healthcare people! I even analyze my friend's health problems...
Look forward to hearing your crazy ways!

Join the club!! There are MANY (most, all?) nursing students going through the same thing. I keep telling people that my brain fell down and it can't get up. I cannot concentrate, it is bad bad bad. So, I feel your pain, hang in there. For me, studying is like a form of torture right now-- it hurts, but I keep on truckin'. This is the best advice I have to offer! Some self-talk doesn't hurt either, i.e. 'I am doing this to be the best nurse I can be, not to pass some silly test'. That occasionally helps out. Good luck!
Haha! It is a form of torture! I can't wait to leave my house, clinical, school 10mile radius! Maybe one day I'll even get my hair cut and get some new threads! I am a monster! Plus, right now its all about the comfort foods as a form of distraction for me so you know what? I am also getting the nursing school spread!
