Is there Grants or Scholarships for Males?

Published

Is there grants or scholarships I can take advantage of because I'm a male? I live in New York and someone told me that in Maryland there were programs that paid for there education because he had the double minority. Where is the first place for me to look?

A nurse is a nurse is a nurse.

Makes no difference as to color, race, religion, gender, how tall or how short that you are.

Being a male nurse should not give you any different privileges.

There are different groups and organizations that provide loans and grants, some specify that the recipient is of a certain race, gender, and that is their right, but states providing strictly because you are a male?

Contradict much?

What is so funny about your statement is that there are scholarships for each and every criteria that you said shouldn't matter. Someone has a case of "PC"itis. I'll go ahead and take your "foot" out your mouth for ya. :)

Private organizations can give scholarships to any special interest or minority or majority group they desire. There are no limits to provisions of charity.

If someone wants to give a scholarship to Japanese-albino-webfooted-circus perfomers that is their right. Not that there's any thing wrong with being a Japanese-albino-webfooted-circus perfomer.:roll

It's a good thing you said that! I'm actually a Japanese-albino-lefthanded circus performer though. :trout:

Anyway, what was I thinking.

I forget.

If you call this number 1800-221-9393. They will pay your entire tuition, Lab, etc. You just have to be accepted into a nursing program. Also you have to agree to work at a under priviledge hospital for two years. The up side is, you choose the hospital. If its a private school, this might work to your advantage since they can be quite expensive. For example, NYU is going to cost me $920.00 a credit.
