Help! I'm reaching that panic level anxiety again; NOT COOL!!
Need some advice from seasoned NCLEX test takers!!
I feel I have been studying alot, but am not sure it is the right "way", if there is such a thing. I have purchased two Saunders, one Lippincott, The Kaplan strategy book, and the NCSBN web questions. I seem to be going back and forth between all of these items. Is it better to stick with one book/author?
I am taking the NCLEX on 7-21 and would love some ideas on how to maximize my last week of studying and get a little bit more organized!
Thanks to anyone who answers this post and thanks for all of the previous posts that have helped me during this process of studying!

I understand very well what u are going through, because I think I might have a panic attack too. One thing that keeps me going is reading nclex forum on this site. I have yet to take my exam, schedule for 7/25. One thing I will tell u is if u are reviewing content, stick with one comprehensive review book. People that have being there before like some of my friends, professors and nclex review instructors, told us to stick to one book. For questions I use to answer several cds but recently I am sticking to kaplan only. Kaplan is really good, I have Kaplan complete, with the online qbank, question trainer, and videos. I also use the review of content book & online video to review content. My only problem is I think i am losing it too, because i am not getting it. With the support of this sight, I am going to hold strong, because I want to make it once and for all hopefully with 75 questions. Don't give up, try one source at a time and see what happened i know u have just few days to go. I heard saunders is good too but their questions are easier than kaplan, because I do it some times too. Lippincott, helps me in nursing school, because it deal mostly with knowledge and comprehension, but for u to pass nclex u have to be good with application and analysis. I will recommend Kaplan or saunders. I haven't use NCSBN so I don't know much. So those are my recommendation, I hope others will give some advice too. Don't give up, We will make it by God's grace. Cheers.

Sticking with one review is very helpful in finding your weak areas and helping you feel more productive in your review. I have hopped around myself and it can leave you feeling like your just scrambling around needlessly. I did buy that one Priority, delegation and assignment book for added help with those types of q's. I take my test 7-17, so we'll see if my study technique worked or not.
I get overwhelmed at times, just an up and down feeling waiting for this test to be done. I am looking forward to having it over with and hope it's a positive outcome. I do know I studied as much as I could ahead of time, so that helps calm me down. Really, what more can you do? Remember to take some time to relax and get away from studying too. That's just as important.
