Hi. I'm taking the Pax in a couple of weeks but I would love to hear if you have any advice regarding what to study and focus on? Since you already took the test and scored that good:) Thank you,

Hi! Good luck! To study for the Pax I used their red book and the pocket prep app. Basically just trying to expose my self to as many questions as possible. If I saw trends in questions I was having difficulty with I would just revisit that topic. Also, practice the timing on the verbal section I almost ran out of time ?
Hey @Aswedishnurse I used the red nln book and I bought the practice tests off of the website. Definitely work on time management. @Ashtay how did you do?
Heyy @GlassOfRed I got a 140 on the NLN-hbu?
@Ashtay wow that’s awesome!! I got a 132 with 160 total after class points. ??
@GlassOfRed Thank you! And you as well! What I’ve read from the other threads is that is a good position to be in! Now is the agonizing wait ??
@GlassOfRed Thank you for letting me know. Would you say that the practice questions on the NLN website are similar to the test ones?:/ I got the red book too, just wondering if its worth buying the practise tests too..
@Aswedishnurse yes it’s definitely worth buying the practice tests. I saw the same questions on the NLN. The science one was big for me because it covers chemistry and physics, classes I haven’t taken yet. For math it was a lot of decimals and percent conversions. Then the reading passages which I would practice from the ones in the red book and time myself and study the vocab words
