Intrepretation Needed

Feb 2010 - passed NCLEX in CO

May 2010 - moved to California, received CA licensure

Nov 2011 - CA license to be renewed

License Information for CA Board of Nursing "..continuing education hours is required for every renewal for an active license except for first time renewal by RNs who obtained their initial license by passing the national licensing within the past two years"

So does this mean that I am exempt from CEUs from 2011-2013 and responsible for them thereafter (2013-2015) OR I am currently exempt but responsible for them from 2011-2013?????

You don't need CE units for the 2011 renewal, but you will need them for the 2013 renewal. You have to do CEs from 2011-2013. :)
