Interview at St. Vincents Catholic Medical center, NY

Published

Hey There. Id be interested to know if this rumor is true: It has been said around the would-be nursing students that if you get called for an interview at St. VCMC in Queens, NY that your "pretty much in". Is there anyone out there who belives this to be true and was their experience? I have made it through the entrance exam. I got a 95% on the english and language arts componant and only did fair on the maths.

I held my breath waiting for them to call me to interview. after 10 days a woman with the initial of Ms.M. called me. Has anyone interviewed with her before? If so, what was she like? What can I expect? What are they looking to see in you? Also, is there anyone out there who was interviewed by them and then was NOT admitted? Thank you for your help. My interview is soon!

Hi BrightSpark!

Ive also gotten an interview at St Vincents [staten Island]. It didnt go as well as I wanted because I was so nervous. I was studdering and it got to the point where I didnt really know what I was saying! We did talk after a while though about her daughter. Im dying to get into St Vincents because from what I heard its a great school. I hope that rumor is true! I would be so happy if it were. How was your interview!? ..Im sure youve had it by now.

Hi oOxvanessa I am a senior nursing student at SVCMC Staten Island, if you got interviewed, and you said you did good in the NET I believe you have a good chance of getting accepted. And yes it is a very good nursing school, very tough but if you really study hard you'll make it! Good luck!!

Hi josephinevlln (:
