So what ya think?

Originally, I wrote an essay but in my heart it was very brief an just not all of me so I wrote a new one.

What you think?

There are some issues on here like: no indent, joining words together and no space after sentences. It's just that way on here not my original essay. So disregard those things. Thanks

For the past eleven years I worked inthe medical field as a medical assistant. In areas such as,Hematology, Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Dermatology/MohsSurgery. Working in these different areas allowed me to gain betterknowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry. Theimportance of bedside manner, patient care, teamwork and the abilityto work efficiently under pressure is extremely vital. Prior thebecoming a medical assistant, I attended Laguardia C.C. for nursing. At the time, I knew I wanted to become a nurse but lacked the driveand motivation. I had no plan and no passion. In result, I did notcomplete the program. Two years later I completed the medicalassistant program with the plan to further my education.Unfortunately, it took me eleven years to do so. But I believenothing happens before its time!

I worked at my last place ofemployment for five years. During some point working there I felt asif I reached a dead end. There was no room for growth and my desiredissipated. I felt trapped and limited. I had the urge to go back toschool but lacked the time. After five years working there, I wasgiven a package and let go. At that moment I knew everything happensfor a reason. This was my opportunity to go back to school. Iresearched various schools and came across the Adult Learning CenterLPN Program. I read great reviews on the program. School hours arefull time and completion is within a year. In addition, there is abridge to complete my RN at Helene Fuld College. The commute is lessthen thirty minutes which very convenient. I truly believe thisprogram is tailored for me!

Throughout the years my admiration anddesire to become a nurse has grown. To know that there will bepatients in dire need of medical attention. My advancement will allowme to play a major role guiding them back to health. That is trulygratifying to me! Yes, being a nurse may have some strenuous days andexhausting hours at times. But,when you do what you love. When youwork in the career your passionate about that is self-rewarding itoutweighs anything else. To become a nurse means to have to havecompassion, empathy and the ability to react under the most traumaticconditions and that is what I am made of. To make a difference inpeoples lives where it truly matters. To impact society in a vitalway is my euphoria!

Today with experience under my beltand the determination burning inside, I'm ready for the challenge. Icurrently have savings to cover my bills and others expenses for theduration. My supportive husband is working full time. Should anyfinancial difficulties develop his income along with the savings I'veaccrued will help us along the way. I also have supportive family andfriends at my side. Some are currently in the medical field which isa plus for me on my journey. To take hold of my dream and commit toachieve my goal is the very thing that pushed me today. I have nodistractions and I'm eager to learn.

I fully understand complexities ofthis course. I understand this program will not be an easyexperience. It will take discipline, perseverance, dedication andfocus. It will take self-motivation and critical thinking. Mydetermination and commitment will out way any obstacles that maycome my way. Not only will I strive to make my loved ones proud. Iwill also set an example for the school. Most importantly, I will dothis for me!

I'm determined and excited to become anurse and this is my time!
