Hi there!
I am a registered nurse back home in Philippines and i find it so hard for me to find a work here that is health related because they all requiring license and certifications, and i am thinking to be a CNa first while Im preparing and saving myself for the NCLex because of the processing and the requirements needed to sit on the test. How can I start my journey to CNa? Should i take course or just just directly take the exam for the certification?? I contacted the MBOn many times but they didn't answering my call. Need help pls or any suggestions.Thank you.

I took the CNA course with the American Red Cross of the Chesapeake in Baltimore, MD before I started nursing school, 72 hours of classroom work and 42 hours of training. They have day, evening, and weekend classes. I would contact them with your questions. They are incredibly helpful.

I don't know if you can directly test out of the CNA course with a foreign education. Good luck!
Thank you MissPatricia for the info, appreciate your responseí ½í¸Š but do you think its a good idea that will do it if ever?
You're welcome! Becoming a CNA would be a great way to get your foot in the door of a hospital. It will give you an opportunity to prove yourself, and make connections. You will likely be hired after you pass the NCLEX.
