Hi everyone! I was just curious about something. I am currently working on my MSN in education, but I have always been fascinated about public health. I have been a nurse for 4 years (OBGYN, postpartum, nursery & telemetry). Would it make sense to pursue a public health job or just focus on education? Any advice?!

If you're interested, try it! You'll never know if you like it otherwise. With a Masters your career is wide open, you can always try something else later if this doesn't keep your attention :)

I guess I'm just nervous about making the wrong choice and job hopping too much. I just just started a new job 6 months ago & I hate it! But I get your point :)

I am having the same dilemma right now as we speak (ugh).. What did you decide to do and what school are you attending?
Hey! I'm still at my current job, but in the process of looking for either a public health job or education job. What about you?
I have decided to get my msn in public health. I am working as a manager developing wellness/health promotion programs for the new population that will be covered under the affordable healthcare act.
I am hoping to teach part time to help with paying my loans back..
