Hello everyone!
I am interested in becoming an RN someday and would like your advice. I want to help people when they need it most! Also medicine has been a family tradition so I am sucking it up going for it (no hard feelings I swear!). I was in the military for 4 years (non medical rate) and I am eligible to use my Post 9/11 GI Bill. I will admit before I joined the military I was in college, but failed, then dropped out because I was very very irresponsible and didn't know what I wanted to do with my life SO I joined the military forcing myself into something I couldn't get out easily and I am happy with that decision. Will my past school etiquette effect my possibilities for nursing school? I can say I do have a lot of motivation to become an RN, but of course my past school records won't state that for me. I am moving to San Diego and that is where I'd like to pursue becoming an RN.
With that being said, I am horrible at math, would there be a lot of math with this field, well of course, but what level should I expect? How were the required classes for you? Lastly, how much do you like your job? Why or why not?
Thank you for taking the time to read my post, hope to hear a lot of feedback. :)
