Interested in becoming a nurse, which is best school route for me personally to do?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

i was just recently interested in becoming a nurse. i am currently going to be a junior at university of southern maine this fall and am currently a major in exercise science. i became interested in nursing last year and was trying to figure out if i should change my major into nursing, which if accepted i won't be in the nursing program until my senior year. however, i have completed a lot of the science core classes i needed. or if i should finish and get my bachelors in exercise science, and then apply to the same school or another one to the accelerated nursing program which can last from 12-18 months long. they will both take about the same time; one might be slightly shorter than the other. however in the end of both i would have to take the nclex-rn, i am just wondering which route of schooling is the better way, and which one would look better, switching my major as a junior already, to nursing and getting my degree just in nursing; or graduating with a bachelors in exercise science and getting a second degree in the accelerated nursing program. both would take about the same time with me being a junior in college already. thank you very much.:)
