Inspiring College nurse...who's very confused.

Hi everyone. I'm starting my first year in college. The college that I want to go to does not have my intended major which is nursing. I'm a little worried because I don't want to waste much time. My planned career would be to be a psychiatric nurse. is it okay if I go to the college that I want to go even though they don't have my major? Would I be wasting time? the school is in NYC. I'm very confused on how to start all this. If anyone could help me figure this out then it would be very much appreciated.

You can take nursing prerequisites at any accredited college. If you know what college you are going to transfer to, call their counselor's office & get a list of the courses you will need. You can take as many of those as you can at your local college.
