Information regarding CWRU

Is anyone attending or has attended CWRU CRNA program? What are the classroom hours vs. clinical hours? When do you suggest applying? What is the best ICU to work in to be the most competitive? Any details will be appreciated!

I am currently in the program. The program is integrated, so you take classes and clinicals at the same time, but as the programs progresses, you spend lesss time in class and more int he OR. The last year, you don't spend any time in class - it is all clinical time. I think the last class graduated with almost twice the number of required cases and hours.

I would apply as soon as possible - they have rolling admissions, and will begin interviewing for the Class of 2008 starting this August or so. They look for nurses who have worked in large medical centers, so if you are in Cleveland, Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals are both good options. No one in my class worked at MetroHealth, but I am sure that is good experience too.

PM me if you have any more questions.
