Info needed on Marion Technical College

Published

I am looking into nursing schools near Columbus, OH. There are so many options out here, and I am having a hard time figuring out which direction to go in.

My goal is to eventually get my BSN. For the low cost, I am looking into getting my ADN from Marion Technical College and doing an RN-BSN program somewhere else.

I wanted to get some feedback from people who went there. Is there a waiting list to get into the program? Was it a good program? Did you feel prepared to take the NCLEX?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I am also looking into COTC, as it sounds like Marion Tech may have a waiting list. Any thoughts on COTC either?

Thanks again!

I am starting the nursing program in Fall 2014. I applied on December 17, 2014 and received my acceptance letter on Febraury 6th 2014. When I turned in my application they said the waiting list was 50. I believe they base the decision off of ACT score and GPA. The great thing about Marion Tech is its a shared campus with OSU and they have partnerships with both OSU and OU for the RN to BSN.

I know this post is a little old but I have a few questions. I am trying to apply to MTC and am afraid I will be put on a waitlist and not get in. maybe you can take a look at my post. The title is Marion Tech. THANKS
