I could be missing something but I haven't seen much info on Collin County Community College. Has anyone attended/knows someone who attended school at CCCCD? Does anyone know what lowest GPA was that got in? How the program was, etc.? I would hate to think that I need to have a 4.0 on applicable classes to get in but maybe I do??
Also, did anyone take Express A&P I and II in the same semester? Was it manageable?
Thanks in advance

I did the Express A&P I and II in the same semester I was taking a total of 12 hours. It was very a great way to get A&P done. I made a B first semester and A on the second semester. I had applied to CCCC for nursing but did not get in . I was put a wait list. I then applied to Brookhaven, I am currently in the second semester of nursing school. I love the Brookhaven program.
Thanks for the info Buttercup! Does Brookhaven run a semester over the summer so that you go 16 consecutive months or do they break it up into traditional fall/spring semesters? Also, do they let you do clinicals on the weekends?
You go 16 consecutive months. I started in May of 2007 and will finish August 8 2008. In the fourth semester and sometimes the third semester weekend clinical s are offered. The first and second semester the clinical hours are done during the week. I think in the future they will only start classes in the spring and fall but will still go during the summer. They are taking applications now for Spring semester. I think the deadline is September 28. Just go to the Brookhaven web site . Good luck

October 14 they will have an information session at 4:30. If you want to apply for spring you will need to take the HESI A2 by September 21.
