In America its very differant. I am Canadian however and I like to smoke the occasional spliff in my OFF time from work. Could I lose my job from doing this? I am in B.C Vancouver it is illegal but it seems like a lot of people do it here.:nurse:

Keeping my personal opinion out of this... ;)

I would check your facility's policy on drug use. If they have a zero tolerance policy for drugs and you pop positive on a random or scheduled drug test, they can fire you even if you smoked it in your off hours. Keep in mind that MJ stays in your system for some time, so you can test positive even if you didn't smoke it that day. Also, many facilties consider your refusing a drug test the same as coming up positive and act accordingly.

You have to weigh whether the risk of losing your job is worth the spliff.
