Important Message from Medicare

Hi all!

I am looking to revise our IM distribution process and was wondering if anyone has suggestions. Medicare says we must issue the form and obtain a signature 7 days prior to 2 days after admission, and again 2 days to 4 hours prior to discharge.

What is your process to make sure this is done? Any electronic forms used?

    Our CM department do IM notice with in 48 hours of admission & with in 2 days before discharge.
