i am a nursing student and an incident occurred in class where two classmates got into an argument with a lecturer. they accused the lecturer of informing some students about a test privately and not the entire class. this really got the lecturer, as she considered this act to be slander against her.
this incident led to a general meeting with the nursing faculty. there best jugement for us as a class was to ask us to write a paper of 1500 words on the topic "the impact/implications of slander on an individual and the nursing profession as a whole".
i am really upset about this matter because i dont understand why the innocent has to pay for the guilty; specifically those two that were involved in the accusation.
can anyone help me with gathering the resources to write on this topic????
