Would someone please explain the different types of immunity, i.e., passive artificial, passive natural, active natural etc. I know Iga is passive natural and that the child receives this type of immunity from the mother and that it is good for a few months. Which one is IgM is it active natural? Is the immunity we get from vaccines IgG and I think there is one more type? Please help me clarify this!!!

Ok so active natural is like meeting a pathogen > getting sick > recover and be immune. Things like breast milk and the placenta would be passive and natural. A vaccination would be artificial and active and then receiving an anti-serum would be artificial and passive. Antibodies would be IgA, allergic reactions would be IgE, cytotoxic response would involve IgG, and then an immune complex disease would involve IgM/IgG. Hope this helps!
So what is a vaccination? IgM?
