Hi! I graduated nursing in Philippines and applied for NCLEX. I Havent received any mail from CA BON yet and i know that i can take the NCLEX right away becase the CA BON requires us(international graduates of nursing) to take several units or calsses (for maternity nursing and medical surgical nursing). Im just wondering, how many units do International students need to take to complete the hours needed? and usually how many months or years does it takes to finish the subjects that are needed to take? thank you so much!

you have to wait for the result of evaluation first. because there are recent grads who got their att. now, lets say they require you to take subjects. it depends on the school on how long and how many units you are taking. as long as it is a US approved nursing school. CA BON will accept it.
