don't be nervous! that will limit your strengths when taking the exam! one tip that i can offer prior to any general test: since math is my worst subject, i brush up on my math ahead of time. you can always use one of those standardized test preparatory books at the library (example: gre prep book) and find out your weaknesses and do better on the test! good luck to you! cheers!
oh, and commonly those individuals in charge, ie instructors, will tell you not to prepare, big mistake, prepare and do better! get a better score and the counselors will think your a genius!!! ;=)

Don't worry about those tests. They are intimidating at first especially if it's been a long time since you've in school. But they just measure what level you're at academically so you can start with the right classes. I had to start with math essentials... elementary stuff! But I'm glad I did because I can finally do all of the stuff that used to be so hard for me in high school. I've completed my math classes now and have received A's in all of them(I've never passed a math class until I went to college!!). One thing about going to school as an adult is that you will probably be a very serious student! Good luck and welcome to allnurses!
