Hi,

The best thing to do would be to find out what community colleges are in your area and contact them about the application process, maybe make an appointment with an admissions counselor. discovernursing.com and allnursingschools.com have a search engine where you can find schools based on your area. Depending on where you go to school the program takes about 1-2 years. Some schools use points for the application process. You get higher points for making higher grades in pre-requisite classes and/or electives. I hope this is somewhat helpful. Best wishes
