I am having to take a bunch of the prerequisites again but that is because they are too old. I got my LPN license eleven years ago. Plus, it's a different school and some of the classes don't match up. They said after the prereqs and once i'm in the BSN program I can test out of things. Hope this helps.

I hope this hasn't already been asked, I've searched the forum and couldn't find what I was looking for so here goes. After graduating from an LPN/LVN program do you still have to take pre-reqs? The lady I spoke to about getting into their LVN program said you bypass all the pre-reqs by being an LVN. But I see so many of you ladies still taking pre-reqs after already having your LVN license.
Is she misleading me? If the pre-reqs of Anat/Physio and Micro are still required even if you have an LVN license I am going to finish those first and then go into an LVN program. I have to know by Tuesday the 2nd, as that's when the program starts and she says if I pass the tests I can start that day!
Does it depend on which RN program you are looking into? I know I'll probably have to call the school but it's the weekend and this is reall bugging me.
