Hello All! I am in need of some help/advice. I have an interview coming up at an ICU in a level III trauma center for stat nurse and ICU. I have experience working in a 6 bed ICU, so just want to know in general, what should I expect in this type of interview. I know the facility is probably less hectic than a trauma 1 or II designated hospital. thanks all!!

Congrats! What managers are usually looking for are examples of leadership, examples of sound nursing judgment, and split second decisions that you made whilst using solid critical thinking that is based off of evidenced base practice.
They want to know if you are a team player, work well with others, and are a nurse that will help foster a collaborative and open team environment. They will also want to hear about very stressful and intense situations, ways that you handled it, and the positive outcomes that came from your interventions.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you MYSTICOOKIEBEAR, BSN, RN! I really appreciate your response. I am a little nervous...but of course I am focusing more on a positive outcome.
