Hello everyone! I'm an internationally educated nurse and a registered nurse here in the Philippines. I just created this account but I've been an avid reader or observer for months.
I took my NCLEX-RN at 9:00 this morning. It's already 3pm as I write this and I tried the Pearson Vue Trick around 1:30 pm because I cannot eat or think straight already. With the help of my significant other, he did the PVT and I got the good pop up, the one that says 'no registration can be made contact your member board blah'. I am quite relieved. The exam is very challenging and I only have few sure answers. I stopped at 75 questions and it ran for about 2 hours and 30 minutes. I got a lot of Management of Care and Pharmacology questions, a few Maternal and Child and Psychiatric Nursing. Almost 80% of the exam was Physiologic Integrity. I am not sure if I passed when it stopped at 75. The questions, though I have studied some for and seen in the practice, are amazingly designed to trick me and think to the fullest of my critical thinking ability. It truly is a beast.
My concern now is: Is PVT accurate? How so? Does that mean that I can relax now? I'm planning to do the quick results also. By the way, I applied for New York.
