I am researching New Grad Programs b/c I am deciding on Pre-Nursing

:yeah:I am new to this site, I am about to graduate with my business degree (associates) fromm a coege here in Georgia and I am serious when I say that (I am also a medical esthetician, medical grade ski care branch of cosmo) that I am luckly to be graduating with honors next semester just in time to have realized that after being in spa management for the ast several years I dont want to manage anyone but myself and my family ever again. It was a great experience and I was the dept. head at my last job at a spa with over 30 employees esty's, nail techh's. massage, and stylists. I did 2 grand opening for a really good comapny with beautiful spas in the past 2 years whihc also lead me to the realization that I am burnt out (at 32) on management and have no interest in persuing my bachelors in Business or management. If anything I would ife to focus on strictly H.R. becasue that was the component of management I liked the most.

However something is tellling me that I need to follow my heart and that I come from a long line of RN's in the family and i have concluded that (or perhaps rad. tech) but since this is a nurse board I wil focus on that and over the last couple off weeks bring on this board I know that there is no shortage or valuable and sometimes blunt, which I greatly appreciate, opinions of those who are ahead of me which is just about everybody on this board right now from pre-nursing students all the way up to those seasoned nurses with 37 (is the think longest I saw listed next to someones name!) as far as years of experience!

Anyway I have tong of couices near me in Ga as far as nursing schools either anyway I gotta go i will finish later b/c my daughter is going nuts b/c I am on the computer. Just wanted to let you all know that I have seen a lot of the scared new grades who cant find job so part of deciding if i should go to NS is seeing if that is face I did find that Childrends Healthcare of Atl is hiring new grads and has a new grads orientation and externship or full time resgular jobs available. Sorry there was more to that but I gotta run and I hope its OK to Post job leads here.

Also if anyone has any input on RN Vs. Rad. Tech. (if they know anyone who went to the 2 year certificate program from a voc to be able to sit for the nat boears can you please send me everything you know about it such as the difference in evels of intensity between RN and Rad. Tech.

My daughter is freaking sorry.

Christine
