I need a paediatric placement in Brisbane

Dear all,

I am a second year Bachelor of Nursing student (Child Branch) in the UK and planning for my elective placement next Summer. I have family in Brisbane, so i am really hoping and wishing to find a placement there.

I have been desperately emailing many many universities and hospitals in the Brisbane area hoping for a clinical paediatric placement for Mid May 2009 to Mid July 2009. All so far have said this is not possible.

Does anyone know of a contact that could help me find a placement for this time period? Please please please!
